SHEQ Leader - Alrode (Permanent Role)
A leading industrial company is seeking a qualified and experienced SHEQ Leader to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality systems across operations. This role involves ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, as well as national safety regulations, while driving internal audits, training, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor SHEQ management systems and standards
- Conduct audits and risk assessments (safety, quality, and environmental)
- Ensure legal compliance and manage contractor SHE files
- Facilitate training, inductions, and emergency preparedness
- Oversee internal and external audits and drive corrective actions
- Maintain document control and reporting systems for SHEQ
- Liaise with relevant regulatory authorities
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Health and Safety Management or related field
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- 4+ years' experience in a SHEQ role within a production or plant environment
- Strong understanding of safety legislation and ISO standards
