We are currently seeking a SHEQ Administrator for a short-term contract opportunity based in Randfontein, Johannesburg. Please find the key details below:
Position: SHEQ Administrator
Location: Randfontein, Johannesburg
Contract Term: 2 Months
Remuneration: R24,600 monthly
Start Date: ASAP
Primary Purpose
To ensure the effective implementation, maintenance, and administration of SHEQ systems and compliance with relevant legislation, standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 45001), and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
SHEQ System Management:
- Maintain and update SHEQ documentation and databases
- Administer SHEQ software and reporting tools
- Support internal audits and inspections
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with OHS Act, environmental regulations, and quality standards
- Compile and submit SHEQ reports to management and regulatory bodies
- Track and report on CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
- Training & Awareness:
- Coordinate SHEQ inductions and training sessions
- Maintain training records and matrices
- Promote SHEQ awareness across departments
- Incident & Risk Management:
- Assist in incident investigations and documentation
- Support risk assessments and hazard identification
- Monitor and follow up on corrective actions
- Document Control:
- Manage SOPs, risk assessments, audit records, and SHEQ policies
- Ensure version control and accessibility of documentsEducation:NQF Level 6 or higher in Environmental Health, Safety Management, or Quality Management
- Certifications like SAMTRAC, ISO Auditor, or NEBOSH are advantages
Experience:
- 2-5 years in SHEQ administration, preferably in manufacturing, mining, or engineering
- Familiarity with SHEQ legislation and management systems
Skills:
