About the position
Role responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle faults and repair requirements accurately
- Repair & maintain vehicle/s as assigned
- Conclude job card/s accurately
- Attend to breakdowns, including standby service
- Maintain levels of productivity and efficiency as instructed.
- Mentor apprentices and colleagues
Requirements (qualifications, experience & skills)
- Trade test with DAF Product Knowledge
- Grade 12 or Equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of 7 years in a similar role
- Stress Tolerance
- Initiative / Perseverance
- Interpersonal Skills and Teamwork
- Problem Solving
- Organizational skills & Attention to detail
- Mentoring skills
Desired Skills:
