About the position
Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of South African Service Technician HVACs to work in Groningen, Netherlands. Please note that visa and sponsorship assistance provided. The successful candidates will work on replacement issues, sustainability projects, and malfunctions arising from the service contract. The ideal candidate will be the crucial link in client communication and responsible for maintenance activities on building-related electrical and mechanical installations.
Responsibilities:
- Independently maintaining, inspecting, and repairing (complex) installations, both electrical and mechanical.
- Building and maintaining a good relationship with your client.
- Relieving your client’s concerns and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
- Providing accurate reporting of the work performed.
- Managing subcontractors and/or suppliers.
- Monitoring that new and existing installations comply with legal requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Matric / N4
- Electrical Trade Test
- N1 – N6 highly advantageous
- Related HVAC qualifications
- South African Drivers’ License
- Fluent in the Afrikaans language essential and mandatory
- Additional specialized training and courses in electrical engineering and installation technology (for example: electrical switching, NEN3140, F-Gas certification, and CO craftsmanship).
- Technical knowledge of service, management, and maintenance processes, maintenance concepts, and asset management within a multidisciplinary work environment—or the willingness to continue developing in these areas.
