About the position
Our client in the earth-moving based in Westmead is looking for a Service/ Sales administrator. To provide administrative and operational support to the service and sales departments by ensuring efficient scheduling, accurate documentation, compliance, and customer communication, thereby enabling smooth workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Key responsibilities
1. Schedule and coordinate service appointments, work order and technician assignments.
2. Maintain accurate records of service requests, work performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
3. Process service invoices, purchase orders, and warranty claims.
4. Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide updates on service status.
5. Support the service team with documentation, reporting and compliance requirements.
6. Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies or parts.
7. Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards and industry regulations.
8. Generate service performance reports and assist in workflow optimization.
Skills & Competencies
1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
2. Proficiency in MS Office strongly required.
3. Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to stay calm and collective during high pressured times.
5. Great multitasker.
6. Good customer service skills.
7. Technical experience highly advantageous.
Experience and qualifications
1. Matric required.
2. Minimum of 3-years’ experience on Microsoft Office (Intermediate user).
3. Advanced skill on Excel would be beneficial.
4. Experience in administrative or customer service roles required.
5. Proficiency in SAGE or SAP would be highly advantageous.
6. Technical qualification preferred.
