About the position
We are looking for a talented and experienced Service Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Service Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the end-to-end experience for our customers, ensuring that the solutions we design meet both customer needs and business objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research to gain deep insights into customer needs, behaviours, and pain points.
- Design end-to-end experience journeys that align with both customer needs and business goals.
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria to inform the product development process.
- Plan and conduct user testing to validate and refine design decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure that design solutions meet business and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain design documentation and design systems for consistency and scalability.
- Enable and coach teams on the practice of service design, fostering a user-centered mindset across the organization.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Experience with user research methods, analysis, and applying findings to inform design decisions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in creating and iterating on service designs based on feedback and evolving needs.
Experience Level:
- Band 8 (9-12 years of experience in the role of Service Designer)
