Umhlanga - Skilled Service Advisor required to join a customer-focused team in a fast-paced automotive environment for a reputable dealership in Umhlanga.

As the Service Advisor you’ll ensure smooth communication between customers and technicians, accurate job bookings, and timely service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and manage service bookings
• Accurately record customer concerns and vehicle symptoms
• Provide detailed job estimates and secure customer approvals
• Open and manage job cards efficiently
• Coordinate with workshop staff to ensure timely completion of work
• Keep customers informed on job status and any additional work required
• Conduct final quality checks and arrange vehicle delivery
• Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally
• Promote additional services where appropriate
• Ensure accurate invoicing and payment collection
• Maintain comprehensive service records and reports
• Uphold dealership standards for customer satisfaction
• Assist with follow-ups and service reminders
• Continuous monitoring and clearing of WIP, Debtors and ageing parts

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Service Advisor in a dealership environment
• Working knowledge of vehicle servicing procedures
• Proficiency in dealership management systems (e.g., Kerridge, Automate, or similar)
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Valid driver’s license

Remuneration
Basic salary R18 000 - R25 000 (Depending on experience)
