About the position
Role Overview
We are looking for a Workforce Management (WFM) Integration Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of enterprise-grade, data-driven WFM solutions using UKG (Kronos) technologies.
This role is technical and consultative, suited to someone who enjoys working with complex systems, integrations, and client environments - not workforce planning or call-centre scheduling.
You will play a key role in solution architecture, system integration, client advisory, and mentoring junior consultants, while working on large, multi-system implementations across diverse industries.
What you will be doing:
- Analyse client requirements and translate them into end-to-end UKG WFM solutions
- Lead solution design, configuration, and system integrations (HR, payroll, master data)
- Configure UKG modules in line with best-practice WFM blueprints
- Design and document technical and functional solutions
- Advise clients on WFM best practices, compliance, and process optimisation
- Support integration testing and deployment activities
- Provide post-implementation support and complex issue resolution
- Act as a technical mentor to junior and intermediate consultants
- Contribute to solution improvement, standards, and delivery excellence
What we are looking for:
Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience working with enterprise systems in a technical or integration-focused role
- Proven experience analysing requirements, configuring systems, and supporting end-to-end implementations
- Experience working with integrations between systems (e.g. HR, payroll, time & attendance, master data)
- Experience supporting or implementing web-based enterprise software solutions
Technical Skills:
- Solid experience with SQL (querying, troubleshooting, reporting)
- Experience with system integrations (APIs, middleware, or data interfaces)
- Understanding of software implementation lifecycles and structured delivery methods
- Comfortable producing functional and technical documentation
Qualifications - Matric (required)
- IT-related qualification (certificate, diploma, or degree) advantageous but not mandatory
Nice to Have (Not Essential) - Experience with UKG / Kronos or other Workforce Management systems
- Experience with Dell Boomi or similar integration platforms
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience with Time & Labour or workforce systems
