About the position
Senior Wealth Manager | Bellville, Cape TownHire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled and client-centric Senior Wealth Manager to join a premier financial services firm in Bellville. This role is vital for providing comprehensive financial advice and strategic portfolio management to an existing client base while driving new business growth.
Key Performance Areas:
- Portfolio Reviews: Analyze client portfolio performance and prepare detailed review reports in strict accordance with company standards and policies.
- Client Advisory: Provide ongoing financial advice regarding risk, market trends, investment benchmarks, and insured values in collaboration with the Wealth Planner.
- Instruction Management: Efficiently process and implement client instructions for switches, repurchases, maturities, and Section 14 or Section 37 transfers.
- Estate & Tax Support: Assist clients with tax-related queries and support the preparation of wills and estate execution in partnership with appointed executors.
- Business Development: Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities by promoting the full range of EFG services and products.
- Compliance & Administration: Maintain accurate client databases and ensure 100% compliance with FICA, FAIS, and POPIA legislative requirements.
Requirements:- Education: A relevant 3-year degree is essential. A Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning (CFP designation) or an RE qualification is highly advantageous.
- Experience: Approximately 5 years of experience within the financial services industry. Prior experience as a Wealth Manager or Paraplanner is preferred.
- Language: Fluency in both English and Afrikaans is required to serve the client base effectively.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a solid understanding of service provider products and online platforms.
- Competencies: Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, excellent organizational skills, and a professional, consultative marketing attitude.
