About the position
Hire Resolve’s client, a respected and established wealth management company, is currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Wealth Assistant to join their team in Bellville. If you have extensive experience in financial services, a passion for client service, and a strong administrative background, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
Processing New Business (New and Existing Clients)
- Prepare all documentation and information according to company policies
- Follow up on outstanding or incomplete client business, and liaise with Wealth Manager/Advisor
- Handle retirement claims with a focus on public sector funds
- Manage Section 14 and Section 37 transfers
- Support applications for Whole Life Cover, Keyman Insurance, and Buy and Sell Insurance
- Facilitate transfers from Living Annuity to Life Annuity
2. Servicing Existing Clients- Assist in reviewing client Wills in consultation with Wealth Manager/Advisor
- Process payments via Investec corporate saver account on behalf of clients
- Address and resolve client complaints and enquiries alongside Wealth Manager/Advisor
3. General Administration- Ensure compliance of client documentation with FICA and FAIS legislation
- Record and update client interactions and records
- Maintain and manage client database in line with company standards
- Administer Death Claims and related documentation
- Accurately complete and submit internal documents and fee forms
- Support Wealth Special Projects on an ad-hoc basis
- Build and nurture client relationships through various communication channels
- Proactively manage and complete tasks in a timely and organized manner
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- NQF Level 5 or 6 in Wealth Management (advantageous)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the investment financial services industry
- At least 3 years' experience in a broker support environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (read, write, speak) – Afrikaans is essential
- Competent in using investment and risk service provider platforms and websites
- Strong knowledge of investment and risk platform products
- Initiative and a proactive approach
