About the position

WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES?



 

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.


• Lead and mentor junior QA testers, providing guidance and support in testing practices and methodologies.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.


• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.


• Perform regression, performance, and load testing to validate software functionality and performance.


• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Minimum Requirements:

WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE?



 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual and automated testing.

 



ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:



 

• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.


• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) is highly desirable.


• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python for test automation.


• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile environment.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

 



ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:



 

• Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).


• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).


• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
