About the position
We are looking for a high-performing Technical Recruiter with a strong track record in the engineering sector. This role is focused on delivering top-tier talent across industries such as mining, EPCM, petrochemical, and infrastructure projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, from client engagement through to placement, in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full recruitment lifecycle:
- Job specification briefing
- Candidate sourcing, screening, and shortlisting
- Interview coordination and feedback management
Business development - Source highly specialised engineering talent (scarce skills)
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines
- Conduct thorough technical and behavioural screenings
- Manage client relationships and ensure delivery excellence
- Meet and exceed monthly placement and activity targets
- Proactively headhunt passive candidates via platforms such as LinkedIn
- Maintain accurate candidate and client records
Requirements:
- Minimum diploma from a reputable institution
- Minimum 5 years' experience in technical recruitment (engineering-focused)
- Proven track record of successful placements in sectors such as:
- Mining, Engineering consulting (EPCM), Petrochemical / industrial projects
- Strong understanding of technical roles such as, Engineers (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Process), Designers (Plant 3D, CAD, etc.)
- Project and site-based roles
- Experience working on multiple roles simultaneously
- Strong sourcing and headhunting capability
- Results-driven and target-oriented
- Strong business development mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
- High attention to detail (CV quality is critical)
- Ability to work with urgency and prioritise effectively
