About the position
An opportunity has become available for a Senior Storeman at our New Germany Purpose of the position: The primary purpose is to actively engage, oversee and maintain accurate stock Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to: ? Overseeing Stores Staff and assigning and supervising daily tasks. Working Conditions: ? Monday to Friday from 07h00 to 16h00 Formal Education and Experience: ? Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent Requirements: ? Well organized and focused on service delivery Behavioural skills:

? Ensuring staff conduct daily Cycle Counts, checking and resolving queries
and informing Inventory Manager
? Being well organized and focused on service delivery.
? Generating delivery notes against the relevant accounts
? Ensuring all stock is stored according to the SAP part no.
? Always maintaining effective stock control
? Liaising with Management to ensure minimum and maximum stock
thresholds are always maintained - including buffer stock and additional
spares for refurbishment.
? Preparing stores for bi-annual stock take and supervise the stock take process
? Collating all stock take results and forward to the Inventory Manager for
checking.
? Always following the FIFO system.
? Always ensuring good Housekeeping and address housekeeping reports
issued by Inventory Manager
? Reporting any shortages or low stock levels to buyer and Inventory Manager
? Ensuring that Health and Safety rules are adhered to
? Ensuring stores staff capture, pack and store stock correctly and timeously
? Ensuring all paperwork is captured correctly and timeously onto the system
? Liaising with Quality Department regarding non-conformances affecting
Stock Items
? Working unsupervised and meet set deadlines
? Ensuring Procedures are updated and followed by Stores Staff
? Attending Weekly Stores Meetings
? Must adhere to company policies and procedures.
? Overtime and weekend work may be required during busy periods.
? Fixed monthly salary (not hourly based).
? Stores / Production environment
? 2 or more years' stores or warehouse experience.
? Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Basic MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook)
? Experience being in a leadership position
? Stock take Experience
? Ability to Multitask and prioritize
? Strict adherence to operating procedures
? Physically fit and healthy
? Good maths skills.
? Good written and verbal communication skills.
