About the position
An innovative automotive group is seeking an experienced Stock Controller to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing used vehicle inventory across multiple brands, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end used vehicle stock management
- Coordinate vehicle intake, processing, and preparation for sale
- Maintain accurate digital and physical inventory records
- Handle documentation, including NATIS registration and floorplan management
- Oversee key management and vehicle tracking
- Prepare weekly stock reports and pricing updates
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of dealership experience in stock controlling
- Proven experience dealing with staff, customers, and suppliers
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with dealership management systems (DMS)
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
Critical Skills
- Deadline-driven with ability to work under pressure
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Technical Requirements
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with automotive dealership software
- Experience with inventory management systems
Working Conditions
- Full-time position
- Office hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Monday-Friday)
- Additional Saturday morning hours: 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM
