About the position
Are you a seasoned investment professional with a proven track record in exits, disposals, and portfolio optimization? This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-impact team driving strategic divestments and value recovery across diverse sectors in South Africa and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute exit/disposal strategies for investments.
- Oversee divestment transactions from end-to-end, including due diligence, valuations, structuring, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Conduct financial, strategic, and risk assessments to support optimal decision-making.
- Engage and manage key stakeholders including investors, advisors, and portfolio executives.
- Provide strategic insights to strengthen portfolio performance and maximize returns.
Key Requirements:
- Honours degree in Finance, Accounting, Investments, Economics, or related field (Postgraduate qualification advantageous).
- 7–10 years’ experience in Corporate Finance, Private Equity, M&A, or Investment Banking with strong exposure to exits/divestments.
- Strong deal execution and structuring expertise, supported by solid financial modelling skills.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- A strong strategic mindset with the ability to drive complex exit transactions to closure.
