About the position
Job Purpose
To envision, architect, and lead the development of fit-for-purpose, integrated end-to-end technology solutions across multiple platforms and cloud environments. Provide technical leadership in designing scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-effective cloud-native architectures while driving modernisation, innovation, governance, and engineering excellence across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and govern cloud-native, hybrid-cloud, and multi-cloud solutions.
- Lead architecture decisions across Azure.
- Define cloud adoption, migration, modernisation, and optimisation strategies.
- Design scalable, secure, highly available distributed systems.
- Establish cloud architecture standards and reference architectures.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps adoption.
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical governance.
- Lead application modernisation using microservices, containers, Kubernetes and serverless technologies.
- Mentor and coach engineering practitioners.
Minimum Experience
Minimum 8+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, and technology leadership roles, including at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud solutions on Azure.
