Our Client in the finance industry is seeking an exceptional Senior Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
- Architecture Design & Integration: Lead the design of enterprise, solution, and application architectures, crafting end-to-end systems that encompass APIs, microservices, data flow, and seamless integration across diverse platforms.
- Cloud Platform Leadership: Leverage your deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, implement, and optimize solutions, including experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Software Development Guidance: Provide architectural oversight for software development, ensuring adherence to best practices in languages like Java, Python, C#, and JavaScript/TypeScript, and guiding teams on frameworks such as Spring Boot, .NET Core, and Node.js.
- DevOps & CI/CD Champion: Drive the adoption and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Infrastructure & Operations Insight: Apply your knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible), and monitoring & observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to create resilient and scalable solutions.
- Security by Design: Architect inherently secure systems, focusing on IAM, encryption, and robust network security, with a keen understanding of compliance standards like GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and specifically POPIA in South Africa.
- Data & Analytics Strategy: Design comprehensive data solutions, including expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, data lakes, data modeling, ETL processes, and analytics platforms.
- Technical & Stakeholder Leadership: Work closely with development teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to communicate technical vision, resolve complex problems, and foster a collaborative environment.
Qualification
- 8+ years of dedicated experience in Architecture Design & Integration.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, systems engineering, or cloud development.
- Expertise in microservices, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
- In-depth knowledge of security, compliance, and data protection laws, with a particular emphasis on POPIA in South Africa.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
