Demonstrates deep expertise in the Smalltalk programming language, paired with a strong command of software design patterns, application architecture, and modern development methodologies. Renowned for analytical precision and the ability to solve complex technical problems efficiently. An effective communicator and collaborative team player, experienced in working with cross-functional teams and leveraging version control systems, issue tracking tools, and contemporary development environments to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Duties:
Expertise in Smalltalk programming language, including strong proficiency in writing and optimizing Smalltalk code.
Excellent understanding of software design patterns, application architecture, and development methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Experience with version control systems, issue tracking tools, and development environments.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
8+ years of experience in Smalltalk development, with a strong background in designing and implementing Smalltalk-based applications.
Proven experience in a leadership role, including leading development teams and managing projects.
Experience with application development tools and frameworks related to Smalltalk.
