About the position
Senior Services Architect
The Senior Services Architect is a senior pre-sales and solution design expert responsible for co-creating Professional Services (PS), Support Services (SS) and Managed Services (MS) solutions with clients, sales and delivery teams across multiple technology domains. The role designs competitive, secure, innovative, commercially viable, multi-year service solutions, develops associated costing inputs for commercial models, supports deal closure with executive stakeholders, and remains involved through implementation and renewals where required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead virtual teams of domain experts to design secure, scalable, multi-year PS, SS and MS solutions.
- Design end-to-end service solutions integrating technology, cloud and service delivery across multiple domains.
- Collaborate across sales, delivery, technical teams, vendors and partners to ensure supportable, commercially competitive solutions.
- Develop, test and validate new service designs, delivery models and enhancements to existing service offerings.
- Own all service design deliverables, including technical validation, stakeholder sign-off and commercial viability.
- Lead solution architecture covering Cloud Services, Technology Architecture, SIAM, SLA frameworks and ITSM best practices.
- Conduct consulting engagements including requirements gathering, current vs future state assessments, gap analysis, transformation roadmaps, transition planning and business case development.
- Develop scope, transition documentation and costing models aligned to client business outcomes.
- Support sales teams by presenting solution architectures, identifying cost savings, operational improvements and business growth opportunities.
- Build accurate service cost models, ensuring complete contract cost visibility and profitability over multi-year agreements.
- Produce solution designs for inclusion in commercial proposals and obtain approval from all stakeholders.
- Manage vendor engagement where required and coordinate seamless transition to service delivery teams.
- Share client insights, market trends and solution innovations with the wider services community to evolve future offerings.
- Coach and mentor colleagues while acting as a senior advisor on complex service design engagements.
RequirementsQualifications & Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or related field.
- ITIL and Service Management/Integration certification preferred.
- Automation, AI and Analytics certifications advantageous.
- SAFe (Scaled Agile) or equivalent certification desirable.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or equivalent cloud certifications preferred.
