About the position
We are looking for an experienced Senior Server Engineer to manage and support enterprise server infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, virtualisation, storage and cloud services.
The successful candidate will take ownership of complex technical issues, support critical production environments and ensure infrastructure stability, security and availability.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise server, systems or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy.
- Strong Microsoft Exchange administration experience, including Exchange Hybrid, Exchange Online and mailflow troubleshooting.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration.
- Knowledge of email security and authentication, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX records and certificates.
- Experience with MailMarshal or similar email security gateway platforms.
- Strong VMware vSphere experience and exposure to SAN-backed storage environments.
- Practical Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud support experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across servers, applications, identity, messaging, storage and cloud services.
- Experience working in production environments with incident management, change control, documentation and disaster recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server and enterprise infrastructure.
- Administer Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365 and hybrid identity services.
- Investigate and resolve complex email delivery, authentication, DNS and certificate issues.
- Support VMware virtualisation, SAN storage, backups and disaster recovery.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues in collaboration with developers and technical teams.
- Monitor system performance, maintain security standards and support vulnerability remediation.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to infrastructure improvements and service availability.
