About the position
Hire Resolve's client, a reputable and well-established construction company specialising in commercial, industrial, and residential developments, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team based in Alberton. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of cost planning, cost control, and contractual administration for projects.
- Prepare accurate estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
- Oversee project budgets, progress claims, and final accounts.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure cost efficiency.
- Provide detailed reports and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and contractual requirements.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (BSc preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Candy estimating software is essential.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and financial processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
