About the position
Our client is looking to hire a Senior Quality Engineer for their Cape Town location.
Key Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance or Software Engineering, with a focus on test automation architecture.
- Expert-level proficiency in designing, building, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks (Cypress/Selenium/Playwright) using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing performance, load, and/or security testing strategies.
- Strong understanding of cloud environments (e.g., GCP) and CI/CD integration.
- Proven ability to define QA strategy, mentor team members, and drive large-scale process improvements.
- Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, ownership-driven approach.
