About the position
My client based in Bellville is currently looking for a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join their team on a contract basis.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline
- 5-8 years' experience in Quality Assurance and testing roles, with a minimum of 3+ years focused on SAP Finance (FI/CO)
- Proven hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations or ECC to S/4HANA migration projects
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Finance business processes and integration points with other SAP modules (MM, SD, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as SAP Solution Manager, Jira, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps
- Exposure to test automation tools (e.g. Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft, UFT) is advantageous
- Experience working in complex, cross-functional, and global project environments
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end QA and testing function for SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation and upgrade initiatives
- Define, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and scripts across Functional, Integration, Regression, UAT, and Cutover testing
- Work closely with Finance Business Analysts, Functional Consultants, and Technical teams to ensure full business process and integration coverage
- Establish and manage test data, defect lifecycle management, traceability matrices, and reporting using tools such as SAP Solution Manager, Azure DevOps, Jira, or HP ALM
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks, providing regular status reporting and risk assessments to stakeholders
- Coordinate test environment readiness and dependencies with BASIS and IT Operations teams
- Support and enable automation of high-value finance test scenarios where appropriate
- Conduct go-live readiness assessments and provide formal QA sign-off
- Support cutover activities and post-go-live validation to ensure solution stability
