About the position
- Matric/N3 Certificate with maths and science
- N6 in an Engineering Discipline
- Trade Test
- Valid Drivers License
- MS Projects experience
- Primavera P6 Certification
- Advanced Microsoft Office (E.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc)
- Must have proven SAP Project Builder Experience
- Must have proven CAPEX Planning Experience
- Minimum 10 Years experience in Mining/ Heavy Industry Environment as Planner of which at least 5 years is in a Senior Planner Role
- Must have advanced knowledge of WBS Structures and Distributions
- Must have excellent leadership skills
- Must have proven leadership training will be advantageous
- Must have Project Planning and Control Experience
- Must be able to think logically throughout the project phases
- Must be able to work well under pressure and prepare necessary reports for management
- Advanced Computer Literacy required
- Excel Super-user will be advantageous
- Must have excellent organizational skills for the ability to prioritize projects/tasks
This role will be managing the planning function for Capital Projects as well as Maintenance Projects. The Senior Project Planner will be reporting on the Master Programme. The Senior Project Planner will be overseeing the capital project plan requirements through all project phase and consoiidate final plan for management.
