Senior Project Manager – Retail & FMCG | Strategic IT & Business Transformation - 12-24 month contract

Our client is a dynamic, cash-based omni-channel retailer delivering fashion-value offerings across apparel, homeware, sportswear, financial services, and telecoms.
As they accelerate their digital and IT modernization journey, they’re seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead transformative initiatives across customer-facing and operational domains.

?? What You’ll Do
As part of a future-focused program, you’ll play a pivotal role in modernizing the store environment, enhancing customer experience, and expanding financial services operations. You’ll lead complex IT and business projects, with a strong focus on Point of Sale (POS) system implementations.

?? Who You Are
A versatile consultant with 7+ years of project management experience, including large-scale retail IT deployments.

• Proven success in POS system rollouts within fashion retail environments.
• Experience across diverse project types—avoiding siloed or narrow expertise.
• Strong communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders (including C-level).
• FMCG experience is a plus.
• PMBOK or equivalent certification is beneficial but not required.

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and remote resources.
• Monitor progress, manage risks and dependencies, and deliver regular status updates.
• Conduct post-project reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure benefits realization from digital initiatives, focusing on automation and legacy system integration.
• Demonstrate strong capabilities in risk management, stakeholder engagement, and content knowledge.
