To plan, manage and ensure the successful delivery of built environment projects, with a strong focus on operational compliance, quality standards, and profitability. The role includes end-to-end project execution, leadership of project teams and service providers, and support for sales, marketing, and compliance initiatives.
NQF 6 in Project Management within the built environment is required
3-5 years experience in managing built environment projects
Experience in the fire protection industry is strongly preferred
Candidates from wet services or HVAC industries with construction backgrounds may be considered
Strictly no candidates from the residential building industry
Extensive relevant experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications

Key Performance Areas (KPAs)
Project Planning and Resourcing
Lead project scoping and resource planning, define timelines, and engage internal teams and subcontractors. Ensure project kickoff aligns with service level expectations.
Project Management
Oversee delivery across all phases. Monitor progress, flag risks or delays, and drive corrective actions. Ensure subcontractor performance meets Cross Fire's operational standards.
Prepare and track project budgets. Analyse and manage profitability. Oversee claims processing, valuations, and invoicing cycles.
OSHEM and Compliance Management
Ensure Occupational Safety, Health, Environmental and Management (OSHEM) compliance across all project phases. Train service providers on site safety protocols and monitor adherence.
Collaborate with business development teams to provide technical input on proposals, designs, and client engagement. Support upselling and opportunity identification on current projects.
Track project and financial performance through monthly reports. Assess subcontractor delivery and maintain documentation for internal and client audits.
