An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Project Engineer - Mechanical to join a high-performance Innovation Division driving advancement in hydro mining and tailings solutions.

This role focuses on the design, optimisation, and implementation of slurry pump and pipeline systems, as well as leading strategic engineering initiatives that support operational excellence and future-focused innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead concept and detailed design of slurry and high-pressure water systems.
• Manage pump and pipeline engineering from feasibility through execution.
• Identify optimisation opportunities within existing systems.
• Oversee strategic engineering projects (scope, budget, resources, timelines).
• Drive innovation, research, and integration of new technologies.
• Manage consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and improve control environments.

Minimum Requirements

• BEng / BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years' relevant experience.
• Minimum 10 years in pump and pipeline system design.
• Strong experience in slurry transport and high-pressure water systems.
• Tailings management experience advantageous.
• Proven project management capability.
