Exciting Opportunity: Senior Programme Manager: Trading & Supply Chain Finance (x2)

Contract Type.

  • 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (x2 positions)
  • Based at Head Office - Centurion, Gauteng

We're partnering with a leading state-owned development finance institution-renowned for financing South Africa's agricultural and rural economy-to recruit two pioneering Senior Specialists (Programme Managers) for a 12-month fixed-term contract within its newly launched Trading, Trade & Supply Chain Finance Unit.

Key Purpose:
Lead the design, implementation, and execution of trade and supply chain finance programmes-from product development and systems rollout to partnerships and transaction management-building new business capabilities that connect farmers, co-ops, aggregators, and markets.

What You Must Have.
We're seeking commercially astute professionals with:

  • Strong sales, product, or business development experience in trade, supply chain, or agri-finance.
  • Exposure to physical commodity trading, trade finance, or working capital solutions
  • Understanding of value chain ecosystems (e.g. farmers, co-ops, agribusinesses)
  • Solid experience in project management, partnership development, and revenue diversification.
  • 10+ years' relevant experience (5+ years at management level).
  • A relevant Honours degree (Commerce, Banking, Finance, Agricultural Economics, etc.)
  • Bonus: Experience working in co-ops, aggregators, fintechs, or development finance.
