Senior Professional Nurse - Obstetrics

About the position

Our client, a highly regarded Private Hospital is seeking to employ a dynamic and energetic a Senior Professional Nurse. The aim of this position is to ensure a safe, positive patient experience by supporting the unit manager in the co-ordination of patient care and management of the unit.


Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team
• Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safetyFacilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
• Create a learning environment that builds staff competence.
• Ensure that all utilized stock and equipment are accurately charged.

Job Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in General Nursing
• Midwifery
• Post graduate certificate/ diploma in speciality  area
• 3 years post qualification experience
