About the position
A modern day hospital in Milnerton, Cape Town is seeking a Senior Professional Nurse (2IC) for Theatre, offering a leadership-focused role that combines hands-on clinical involvement with operational support and team guidance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Nursing (BN) or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or senior role.
- Solid theatre experience, preferably within a day hospital or surgical setting.
- Additional qualifications in perioperative nursing, critical care, or nursing management advantageous.
- Strong leadership, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
