About the position

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

Product and Order Management

• Raw Material - Future projection and placement of orders - Core fabric (Review monthly performance of
• categories)
• Greige volumes - calculate and commit to greige volumes upfront for 12 months
• Tariff heading volumes - forecast raw material by tariff code bi-annually
• Weekly cutting list preparation and prioritising them based on requirements (Core replenishment) - liaise with the
• planning team
• Controlling stock cover of core lines based on sales
• Orders for newness, understanding store and stock level requirements and placing orders in the required size ratio
• Cutting lists of new seasonal stock, in ratio based off analysis
• Working closely with the merchant team to understand fabric needs (Range build / trade)

Planning

• Costings reviewed to align margins
• Size curve / level monitoring
• Liaise with team to ensure stock levels for Hospitality are available

Qualifications and Experience:

• A relevant Tertiary qualification
• Proven working experience as a Planner and/or Industrial Engineer in either a logistics or similar environment (3 - 5years essential)

Skills:

• A high degree of numeracy and an analytical, detailed and strategic approach to work
• In-depth knowledge of the planning process in manufacturing environment
• Computer literacy in word, excel and knowledge of "Fast React" will be an added advantage
• Category management
• Strong business acumen and continuous improvement thinking
• Good organisational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proven decision-making ability
• Strong affiliation to systems, utilising them to increase productivity in line with the manufacturing strategy
• The ability to influence and work with internal stakeholders as well as external business partners with a strong focus on alignment across the various areas and teamwork
