Our Client is looking for a Senior Packaging Consultant to Join their team
Location: KwaZulu-Natal
Purpose of the Role
The Senior Packaging Consultant is responsible for servicing and developing an allocated customer base by building strong client relationships. The role requires delivering high levels of service, providing prompt responses to problems and queries, developing new business with existing customers, and pursuing new customer opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Relationships & Business Development
- Identify and engage with new and existing customers to establish needs.
- Implement relationship management techniques to ensure customer retention.
- Present the company’s value proposition and solutions effectively.
- Deliver a consistently high level of customer service.
- Provide detailed knowledge of available products and solutions.
- Anticipate customer needs and propose appropriate solutions.
- Handle customer complaints and queries professionally.
- Facilitate the smooth flow of customer projects.
- Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and timely client meeting logs.
- Submit weekly log sheets and estimates.
- Manage quotation submissions and follow-ups.
- Track customer communications, back-orders, and stock control.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets and reports as required.
- Plan and prioritize daily and weekly activities effectively.
- Set personal goals and action plans to achieve targets.

- Continuously assess strengths and development areas, taking action to improve.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric) required. B. Com, National Diploma, or similar qualification in business, commerce, or consumer studies preferred.
Experience:
- Proven sales experience in a B2B environment.
- Exposure to the plastic packaging industry advantageous.
- Skills in data extraction, analysis, and evaluation beneficial.
- Strong understanding of business operations and consumer behavior.
