Senior Network Engineer

About the position

Reverside is an established IT services provider specializing in Software Development, IT Resourcing, Digital Transformation, and Systems Support. We are continuously looking for skilled professionals to join our growing team.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to manage, optimize, and secure our network infrastructure. The role focuses on advanced routing, switching, Wi-Fi management, and supporting network-connected surveillance systems. You will lead network enhancements, resolve complex issues, and ensure reliable, high-performance connectivity across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy network architectures (switches, routers, Wi-Fi, surveillance devices).
• Perform advanced routing and switching (VLANs, OSPF, BGP, STP).
• Manage and secure Wi-Fi networks and high-density environments.
• Support and integrate IP surveillance systems.
• Monitor network performance and implement improvements.
• Conduct audits, security assessments, and system upgrades.
• Troubleshoot complex network and wireless issues.
• Integrate new technologies (SDN, cloud networking, IoT surveillance.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain accurate documentation.

Required Experience & Skills

• 8+ years’ experience in advanced network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco/Extreme switches, firewalls, load balancers, Wi-Fi (Aruba/Ubiquiti), and IP cameras.
• Expertise in TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, QoS, VPN, and wireless standards.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, PowerShell).
• Certifications such as CCNP or CWNP preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
