About the position
PeopleSolved is currently recruiting for a CCNP Certified Network Operations Engineer, to join a leading financial services company in Pretoria.
This 1-year CONTRACT opportunity is based in PRETORIA, and is HYBRID.
What you'll do:
- Implement, monitor, and troubleshoot network systems
- Ensure secure and reliable network access across the organisation
- Perform routine network maintenance and upgrades
- Resolve networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues
- Diagnose and address recurring network problems
- Manage switch backups and configuration
- Install and configure hardware when required
- Provide timely resolution of IT support tickets
- Apply deep knowledge of routing, switching, and high-availability protocols
What you'll need:
- Matric and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Cisco CCNP certification (required);
- CCNA, CCIE, advantage
- 7+ years' experience in network support or IT operations
- 7+ years working in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar environment
