Senior Network & Security Engineer
Job Purpose
The Senior Network & Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, maintaining and supporting enterprise network and security infrastructure. The role requires strong hands-on technical expertise across networking, firewalls, cloud connectivity and cybersecurity, together with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide high-level technical guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Engineering & Infrastructure
- Design, implement, configure and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for complex network-related incidents.
- Perform network infrastructure audits and identify areas for improvement.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, wireless infrastructure and associated network technologies.
- Plan and implement network changes, upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
- Monitor network performance, availability and capacity.
- Perform network maintenance, optimisation and lifecycle management.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, standards and technical procedures.
- Assist with the design and implementation of resilient and highly available network solutions.

Experience
Minimum 5-8 years' experience in network engineering, network infrastructure and/or network security.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a senior-level Network and Security Engineer with strong hands-on enterprise networking and cybersecurity experience. They should have a solid Cisco foundation, extensive firewall and security knowledge-particularly Fortinet-and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
A candidate with CCNP-level networking expertise, Fortinet certifications, Azure networking experience and strong firewall/security administration experience would be particularly well suited to this role.
