A specialist state-owned agricultural finance institution, with a 100+ year legacy of funding South Africa's commercial and emerging farmers, is looking for a Senior Legal Advisor to lead its Recoveries & Insolvency unit at its national head office.

What You Will Be Doing?

You'll drive legal recoveries, manage high-value litigation and insolvency processes, and guide teams and attorneys in salvaging distressed portfolios - all while helping protect the financial backbone of South Africa's food system.

• You're an Admitted Attorney or Advocate with 7+ years in litigation, recoveries, or banking collections;
• You know how to lead legal processes, manage attorneys, and navigate insolvency & restructuring;
• You understand legislation like the NCA, CPA, Companies Act, and have banking or public finance exposure;
• You're strategic, decisive, and ready to lead national portfolios and court-driven recoveries
