Key Responsibilities

As part of our academic team, you will:

Academic Teaching & Learning

• Facilitate undergraduate and postgraduate modules through online webinars and face-to-face sessions.
• Deliver engaging, student-centred learning experiences.
• Develop high-quality learning material for the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Ensure academic content aligns with institutional quality standards.
• Provide timely academic support and respond to student queries.

Assessment & Quality Assurance

• Design, mark and moderate assessments.
• Participate in internal moderation and quality assurance processes.
• Maintain academic integrity and assessment excellence.

Curriculum Development

• Review and enhance module guides.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous programme improvement.
• Develop innovative teaching approaches that enhance student engagement.

Research & Postgraduate Supervision

• Conduct impactful research.
• Supervise Honours and Master's students.
• Participate in community engagement initiatives.
• Contribute to scholarly publications and research outputs.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Master's Degree (NQF Level 9) specialising in:
  • Information Technology
  • Business Analysis

Experience

• 3-5 years' academic or academic management experience within Higher Education.
• Experience lecturing Information Technology and/or Business Analysis modules.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Experience in curriculum development and academic quality assurance.
• Experience supervising postgraduate students will be advantageous.
