Cape Town - Senior Lead Creative Designer
Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic Lead Creative Designer to head a dynamic in-house creative team. As the Senior Creative Design Lead, you will drive design excellence across corporate brand initiatives, product marketing, digital campaigns, and sales enablement materials. You will play a pivotal role in bridging brand awareness, lead generation, and product marketing, ensuring consistent visual identity, messaging, and brand execution across all customer touchpoints and at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the creative direction for brand awareness, promotional activities, and product marketing across multiple business units.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines and visual systems to ensure consistency across digital and print assets.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create compelling marketing toolkits that enhance go-to-market strategies.
- Oversee creative execution across email, PR, web, search and display ads, social media, videos, brochures, and presentations.
Marketing & Sales Enablement
- Support pitches and tenders by developing visually compelling proposals, presentations, and collateral.
- Manage the development of marketing toolkits with structured, scalable design assets for internal teams and agencies.
- Lead the creation of digital marketing campaigns, aligning them with brand and performance objectives.
- Design service and product brochures that are clear, engaging, and visually appealing.
- Develop sales enablement tools that empower sales teams to effectively communicate value across business lines and products.
Team & Project Management
- Supervise a small internal design team, providing mentorship and creative direction.
- Manage external agencies and contractors, ensuring their output aligns with the client's brand and campaign goals.
- Oversee marketing campaign asset workflows, including web, digital ads, videos, brochures, presentations, and events.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director, Content Strategist, and Program Manager to optimize design execution.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years of experience in creative leadership, design direction, or art direction.
- Proven track record with a strong portfolio showcasing branding, marketing campaigns, and digital design expertise.
- Experience across B2B marketing channels.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and digital marketing assets (motion graphics skills are a plus).
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing agencies in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong storytelling abilities to integrate visual and written content effectively.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
