About the position
ENVIRONMENT:
Our client is a technology and digital solutions provider that designs, develops and maintains bespoke software solutions addressing real business challenges. They assist organisations in transitioning from traditional desktop computing to cloud-based environments while providing practical guidance, implementation and governance across digital transformation and Generative AI integration. They are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer for a 6–12-month contract role within a telecommunications environment. These hybrid positions are based in Stellenbosch.
REQUIREMENTS:
Technical Requirements:
- Strong senior-level Java backend development experience.
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Practical experience with asynchronous programming.
- Cloud platform experience, preferably AWS.
- Experience developing scalable and reliable backend services.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
