You'll oversee the full trade lifecycle across multiple asset classes, executing buy and sell orders in line with approved mandates while ensuring accuracy, compliance and best execution. From liaising with brokers and dealing desks to managing settlements and resolving failed trades, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining seamless portfolio implementation. You'll handle daily cash and position reconciliations, process portfolio cash movements, maintain portfolio records and validate reporting data. The role also includes compiling monthly and quarterly performance reports for high-net-worth clients, supporting investment and administration teams, liaising with international banking partners, and contributing to robust operational controls and UCITS compliance.

You'll work closely with experienced investment professionals and have the opportunity to enhance systems and processes in a firm that values precision, discretion and high standards. You'll be fully office based in Newlands, Cape Town.
A completed degree in Finance, Investment Management or Economics, with at least 3 years' experience in investments or wealth management. You'll have a strong understanding of financial markets, asset classes and investment statements, along with proficiency in Excel (advanced) and working knowledge of Bloomberg. An understanding of basic tax treatment of investment income and UCITS compliance will be advantageous. Only candidates currently residing in Cape Town can be considered
