You have a strong understanding of HVAC&R components and terminology and enjoy being customer facing. You have previous experience in an internal sales position and are comfortable dealing with walk-in clients, whilst building strong relationships within a fast-paced environment. You are process-orientated and able to multi-task in an environment that does have consistent interruptions.
You'll provide technical advice on a product portfolio within the refrigeration and air-condition technologies industry and act as a first point of contact walk-in clients, contractors and technicians. You will support them with product selection, pricing and availability as well as prepare quotations, process orders and invoices. You will love this role as it's a part of an organisation that values their staff and allows cross departmental collaboration, from working closely with the warehouse, to supporting stock planning, promotion of new products and everything in between.
You will be in the Germiston office Mon- Fri, 8am- 5pm. You'll be working for a globally recognised engineering business. You have a Matric, with a technical qualification in HVAC&R, Mechanical Engineering or Refrigeration. You have 2-4 years' internal sales experience in a technical or industrial environment, along with strong knowledge of HVAC&R systems. You are confident using ERP systems and MS Office, with excellent communication skills in English (Afrikaans is beneficial).
