About the position
This position will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data centre operations. The candidate must have experience in people management, a strong technical understanding, and the drive and vision to take the Data Center Operations to the next level.
Key Requirements
- Ensure that servers have the appropriate Firmware and Drivers installed and up-to-date.
- This position involves leading teams in Server Support, VMware support, SAN/Array Support, Backup support, and Linux, support.
- Ensure SAN replication takes place.
- Create and/or regularly update a backup and restore procedure and policy.
- Ensure All critical Business systems are replicated at DR.
- All aspects within VMware
