About the position
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a dynamic IT environment and contribute to global-scale projects. The role focuses on Linux High Availability (HA) solutions and involves delivering secure, stable, and innovative IT services across diverse technology landscapes.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Unix/Linux servers to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Apply system updates, patches, and security fixes.
- Create and maintain system documentation, including configurations and troubleshooting guides.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and operational policies.
- Deploy, manage, and operate workloads on AWS and Azure, ensuring security and compliance.
- Track and manage tasks in Jira, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Support system stability and adherence to operational standards.
- Manage Problem, Incident, and Change processes in ITSM.
- Contribute to maintaining a high-quality knowledge base.
- Participate in standby duty and occasional weekend work.
- Attend and moderate operational meetings.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Unix/Linux operating systems (SUSE, RHEL, Ubuntu).
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Perl, Python, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of High Availability systems (e.g., Veritas Infoscale).
- Experience with system monitoring tools (Nagios or similar) and backup solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, SSH, TCP/IP).
- Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with Oracle and SAP at a high level.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems (GitHub).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT operations and configuration management/automation.
Advantageous Skills
- IT certifications (Linux, SUSE, Veritas, RHCSA, RHCE).
- Knowledge of Agile Working Model.
- Experience with VMWare, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Podman).
- Familiarity with Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, ITIL, and PIC processes.
- Experience with Red Hat Satellite.
- Exposure to Windows Server and Private Cloud solutions.
Qualifications
- Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience.
- Linux certifications (advantageous).
- Ansible certification (RHCE ex294/ex407) (advantageous).
