About the position

Senior Industrial Engineering Consultant

Area: Centurion

Remuneration: Excellent market related package

Overview: To provide technical solutions and services to clients in the mining and capital-intensive industries, by data analysis, simulation modelling, business case modelling, process optimisation, and systems thinking, to solve problems and support clients with decision making.

Duties:

• Executing on project deliverables.
• Delivering custom solutions as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Proactively engage mining, geology, metallurgy and project management to ensure the project is executed holistically.
• Leading client engagements on projects to ensure overall technical excellence and client satisfaction.
• Using technical models to solve projects and support decision making.
• Facilitating workshops and proactively engaging with project stakeholders within the client environment.
• Documenting reports as part of the final deliverables on consulting projects.
• Travelling to client sites as required.

Requirements:

• BEng Industrial and Systems Engineering

• 5 Years Experience in Mining Projects

• 2 Years Experience in Consulting Services

• Basic understanding of the Mining Value Chain and Capital Project Lifecycle
• Professional Engineering Registration (Not mandatory, but advantageous)
• Professional people skills
