You will oversee complex immigration portfolios across South Africa and various African jurisdictions, act as escalation point for high-level cases, and play a strategic role in strengthening processes, compliance, and service delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage South African and African immigration casework
- Oversee complex corporate and private client portfolios
- Serve as escalation point for urgent and high-risk matters
- Ensure full legislative compliance across jurisdictions
- Liaise directly with DHA, VFS, and African immigration authorities
- Oversee document control, submissions, and quality assurance
- Proactively escalate delayed applications and manage turnaround times
- Drive operational improvements within the immigration function
- Mentor and guide junior consultants
- Maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service
- Support business growth initiatives within the immigration division
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in South African and African immigration
- Strong understanding of corporate immigration processes
- Proven ability to manage complex, high-volume portfolios
- Confident engagement with immigration authorities
- Excellent drafting, research, and compliance skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
- Comfortable using AI platforms and digital systems
- Fluent in English (French advantageous)
- Driver’s licence and own transport preferred
Relevant qualification in Legal Administration, Business, or Immigration will be advantageous.
