About the position
A well-established business is seeking to appoint a Senior HR Business Partner
Experienced HR professional who has an excellent understanding of best practice HR in an international, complex environment. The role will operate within a matrix structure, reporting to the Director of HR, based in the UK and with a dotted line to the Mid-Telescope Director.
Mandatory Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in human resource management or organizational development with depth of technical understanding and experience across all aspects of the employee lifecycle only
- 7 years’ Experience of operating at a senior level, providing advanced generalist and strategic HR advice on a range of complex HR, organizational and employee relations issues across the full employment lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to influence, advise and support leaders and complex stakeholders on a range of complex HR, organizational and employee relations issues.
- An in depth understanding of the drivers of employee engagement across diverse groups, with experience of delivering exceptional engagement outcomes and an inclusive culture, against a complex backdrop of competing priorities
- A demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence across different cultural, geographical and structural boundaries
- Deep understanding of local labour law and the broader employment landscape
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- An ability works collaboratively, demonstrating a respectful and inclusive approach across all cultures, backgrounds, nationalities and race
- Experience of managing others, building an environment that enables team members to thrive.
Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- 5 years’ Experience collaborating with and working as part of an international geographically dispersed team
- Knowledge of intergovernmental organizations, with an understanding the impact of privileges and immunities on the reward and policy landscape.
- Expertise in building capability through the establishment of technical academies
- 5 years’ experience Knowledge of the requirements of in-country payroll.
