About the position
JOB PURPOSE
Providing key input into the development and implementation of key people strategies
Leading the HR Management team, ensuring full implementation of the agreed people strategy and end to end delivery of the HR cycle.
Providing functional leadership to the HR management teams based within the business operations and IT functions
Ensuring alignment of the clients HR function to the clients HR standards and processes.
KEY OUTPUTS
Contributing to and implementing key people strategies
Ensuring that the clients HR function optimally supports the business objectives & constantly strives to enhance current HR practices
Functional ownership and support of HR teams across the board
Ownership of the HR operational processes and standards
Conducting extensive research to drive for best practice adoption and innovation

Effective communication and relationship building skills
Effective people management skills
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 8 years HR management experience, with demonstrated experience in -
HR strategy development and implementation
Leading a full-service HR team / function
Change management
Strong HR Specialist knowledge – understands the structure, strategy and objectives of the HR function
Legislation – keeps abreast with current events especially those impacting the business as a whole
Noteworthy experience in a HR center of expertise (COE) role such as Leadership & Learning, Talent Management, Organizational Design & Development, etc. (Advantageous)
Post graduate qualification in a related field (Human Resources, Industrial Psychology) is essential
Masters degree (advantageous)
EE Priority: Preferred African or Coloured candidates
