Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all group reservations from enquiry through to confirmation
  
  
• Ensure accurate capturing of bookings, rooming lists, and payments
  
  
• Monitor room availability and assist in maximising group revenue
  
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and key accounts
  
  
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records within the reservation systems
  
  
• Liaise with Sales, Front Office, and Operations to ensure smooth group arrivals and departures
  
  
• Support and mentor junior reservations team members
  
  

Requirements:

• Matric Certificate with a Hotel Management Diploma or Degree
  
  
• 3–5 years’ experience within a 4 or 5 hotel reservations environment**
  
  
• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing group bookings, tour series, or event blocks in a senior capacity
  
  
• Understanding of revenue management principles
  
  
• Experience using Opera PMS, Opera Cloud, and distribution systems
  
  
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  
  
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings efficiently
