What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) You'll take ownership of the month-end close process across multiple international entities, preparing financial records under IFRS, managing tax and VAT returns, and delivering financial insight that supports strategic decision-making. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including billing, accounts payable, payroll, and compliance. Your role includes preparing statutory reports, regulatory returns, board packs and liaising with auditors. Plus, you'll manage two junior accountants, coaching and guiding them to ensure high performance across the team. What you'll need You're a qualified accountant (SAIPA or CIMA) with solid IFRS experience and a background in financial services. You have a sharp understanding of tax regulations across jurisdictions and ideally have worked with Microsoft Business Central and Caseware. Advanced Excel skills are a must, and any exposure to Power BI or macros is a bonus. You've managed others before and bring strong coaching and mentoring skills.
