About the position

ENVIRONMENT:

ARE you a Senior Graphic Designer with Motion in their DNA? Then a forward-thinking Advertising Agency in Port Elizabeth wants you to serve as a visual architect, a Motion maestro, and a creative catalyst who can transform static pixels into living, breathing brand stories. You’ll be the guardian of visual craft—leading projects from concept to final frame, blending bold ideas with sleek execution. From brand campaigns to digital storytelling, you’ll bring design thinking and motion design wizardry to every brief. Think posters that pulse, identities that animate, and stories that move (literally). The ideal candidate will have 5+ years work experience in Design studios or agencies, expert level proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, and Motion Design workflows & a strong understanding of branding, typography, layout, and storytelling. A portfolio that proves you’ve mastered both Static Design and Motion will be expected.

DUTIES:

• Conceptualize and craft world-class visual identities, campaigns, and content.
• Elevate design systems with dynamic Motion graphics that surprise and delight.
• Collaborate with Copywriters, Strategists, and Creative Directors to push boundaries.
• Mentor Junior Designers, shaping their eye and sharpening their craft.
• Stay ahead of design and Motion trends, ensuring our work isn’t just current—but culture-shaping.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A portfolio that proves you’ve mastered both Static Design and Motion. (If your work doesn’t move, neither will we ).
• 5+ Years in Design studios or agencies, where craft and concept collided.
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, and Motion Design workflows.
• Strong understanding of branding, typography, layout, and storytelling.
• A collaborative spirit with leadership flair—someone who can design, direct, and inspire.

Bonus Points If You…

• Play with 3D, sound design, or generative tools.
• Have a love for experimenting and bending the rules of the grid.
